MyCarMovie is an online video community which allows you to store and share your own car and vehicle movies. Additionally you find here the car manufacturers' best films, informative clips from TV-reports and in the section "Buy & Sell" you find a video market or used cars.
Our community contents are completely usergenerated and using MYCARMOVIE is totally free of charge.
As soon as you have finished editing your movie and you have checked it does not exceed 100 MB and that the data format is the right one, you are ready to upload your movie.
Please note that your movie cannot be viewed while being converted. In case an error occurs during uploading please make sure your movie's data format is supported by MyCarMovie. MyCarMovie can handle video files of the most common multimedia devices like digital cameras, camcorders and cell phones. Formats supported are: .avi., .wmv, .mov, .3gp und .mpg an. Yes, because your movies are included into your profile which is only possible for registered members of MYCARMOVIE. As a member you have the opportunity to save movies under your "favorites", to post comments, subscribe to movies and much more.
Get a digital video recording device. Best is a digital camcorder, a cell phone or a video recorder. Today most digital cameras can record digital video. If you do not have a video recording device, ask a friend to lend you his or hers.
The duration depends on your internet connection and the size of the movie.
Uploading a movie can last between a few minutes and up to an hour. However, most users have related to us that the upload took less than 10 minutes. MyCarMovie uses the Adobe Flash video player. We recommend installing the latest version of it.

If the movie is not played without an interruption then your internet connection could be the cause. For achieving the best results your internet connection should have a download rate with a bandwidth of at least 300 kb/s.
